Mel has been teaching in the Twin Cities for 25 years.

They developed their teaching practicum while working at 7th-12th grade alternative schools. Since those days, Mel has taught youth and adults part-time as a teaching artist. They currently lead bookbinding and sculpture classes at the Eagan Art House in Eagan, Minnesota.
